DESCRIPTION:An eclectic mix of musicians\, artisans\, dancers\, and more from all over the world bring their unique cultural traditions to Richmond for the annual Richmond Folk Festival. Head downtown to the historic riverfront to celebrate the roots\, richness and variety of American culture through music\, dance\, traditional crafts\, storytelling\, food\, and children’s activities. With performing groups representing a diverse array of cultural traditions entertaining on seven stages\, this FREE festival is a delight for the whole family! Last year this festival attracted more than 220\,000 attendees and it has become one of Virginia’s largest and most-loved events of the year. The 2019 Festival will bring a new and similarly amazing list of performers\, artists and exhibitors.
