Smart Resources is looking for a Java Developer to create and support programs for an enterprise imaging application.
Responsibilities:
- Software development in Java/Tomcat environments using Agile methodologies
- Training, documentation, and knowledge transfer of application
- Perform support, programming, and analysis tasks for indexing and imaging server applications, including database and GUI development
- Develop client applications for scanning, searching, and retrieval on client machines working closely with database server
- Unit testing, set-up of environments, and use cases for quality assurance
- Database support, design, development, and analysis on Relational Database Management Systems to develop, optimize, and maintain performance in imaging applications
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience successfully developing software projects including imaging component
- Strong analyzing skills
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience with Java application development and analysis
- Experience with Java in an imaging application preferred
- Experience with Agile preferred
- Experience with Data Modeling, Software Development Kits, and development tools such as Subversion preferred
- Experience with Informix ODBC/JDBC, Informix DBA, Apache, Apache Tomcat, Angular, JavaScript, Java Server Pages, DOM, HTML, JDBC, and Full Stack Development preferred
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and second level support engineers
- Ability to manage unexpected changes and tackle responsibilities with limited direction
