Smart Resources Partners with Virginia Housing Non-Profits on Special Grant

Richmond IT Consulting Firm to Assist Housing-Related Non-Profit Organizations Enhance Their Capabilities

RICHMOND, Virginia – Smart Resources, a Richmond based IT staffing and consulting firm, is pleased to announce their partnership with Virginia-based non-profit organizations focused on housing resources and services. Thanks to a government grant, Smart Resources will assist eligible non-profits in accessing special funding to improve their operations.

From housing counselors to homeless shelters to organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Virginia residents rely on non-profit organizations across the state to gain quality, affordable housing. Thanks to a new capacity-building grant, housing non-profits will be able to enhance their operations and better serve the needs of low- and medium-income households.

Non-profit organizations interested in this grant opportunity can request help from the Smart Resources’ team in order to complete their grant application. Grant awards begin at $15,000, and once a grant is approved, the funds can be used to engage Smart’s consulting services. These include an IT assessment, software implementation, IT troubleshooting, strategic planning, marketing campaign assistance, and more.

In addition to Smart Resources’ innovative technology and business solutions, organizations that are awarded a grant receive 40 hours of dedicated training with the Smart team. These non-profits are also eligible to request additional funding to be used for other services or equipment.
